Splue, I don't think it's cute. You misunderstood. There are levels on which it's funny (perhaps Monty Python, perhaps black humor); levels on which it's sad; levels on which it's revealing. All those levels can be true at once.
Of course, if you're being harrassed in the real world, that really sucks in a big way and I'm very sorry for what you're going through. But you didn't need to post this copy-and-paste of the thread below. You might consider editing that out so it's just a critique of me, without the long copy and paste. That's OK, I don't mind. It's your opinion. Sorry to upset you.

Actually, thats the second time u havent answered
my question of who the real grateful dead moderator is. Is it u??? Is this a game that u have cooked up??? I notice my account was duplicated on the same nite u posted ur grand essay. Its kind of obvious that ur not truly empathetic, & yet u still take the time 2 hopscotch around my question. Cant sumone who's always bragging so much about their writing skills answer simpl questions???????Maybe ur Tollundism all along!!!! I will tak this 2 the management of the Grateful Dead 2 let them know what is happening/ it may take time. I want them 2 read the lack of resposes/ lack of help from key ppl who self-elected themselves

splue; there is no moderator here per se. This forum has always been that way.
There have been all sort of shenanigans over the years:
A few years ago there was a poster known as "smil2es" (or similar) AKA "bellski". This was a sad individual with severe sexual issues which involved him posting pictures of children.
He managed to wind up two of the regulars here (who shall remain nameless, but those of us who have been around a while know who they are).
In the ensuing paranoia and witch-hunting, some genuine posters were believed to be incarnations of "smil2es" and were wrongly harassed by these two until they left.
A lot of the "old crew" upped and left too. Some went to "DullHook" others went to "Speeding Arrow".
Around this time kochman showed up and was to all intents and purposes a genuine poster.
He too was run off the forum by these two unofficial "moderators" and went to set up his own forum called "The Lost Sailor's Pub".
He never really got over this feud and when the wheels finally fell off "The Lost Sailor's Pub", he became active here again, using many different identities and becoming more and more paranoid.
I am not sure all the current "crazies" are kochman.
I think it is more than coincidence that 'Noise Collector" has shown up again. He was always notorious for multiple posting: e.g. "Telephone Tough Guy" and his racist views.
I have only got involved in all this because "Skobud" (also the proprietor of "The Transitive Axis" forum, which is probably losing its wheels too), really believes I am kochman.
To be honest, I'm past caring anymore.

1. How dare you accuse me of doing anything you have no proof of. Shown up again? I have been on the archive non stop since 2006. NEWSFLASH there are other fourms on here besides this one (I actually run one).
2. How dare you accuse people of being racist because they are not liberal cheerleaders for wealth redistribution. Or was it the insensitivity to terrorists that want to kill jews, black, white, chinese, christians, gays, infidels, etc.? Last time I checked racism was judging someone by the color of their skin, not the content of their character... show me where I, or anyone I ever associated oppressed or attacked someone for being any particular color.
3. BLOW ME
I have a family, a full time job, and full time school and no time to even finish my songs and videos (which is killing me), let alone feed your paranoid multi-posting fantasies. Ironically you say you were falsely accused of being the Jerry Beckochman your self, irony.

i told Mr Kahle that someone cloned my acct & he vry decently responded back in a forum so maybe my misfortune will help u guys in the long run as i leave/ i rly hope so!!!! I think they should probly ask 4 copies of ppl's drivers licenses like when u get a library card at other libraries
my guy told me about *some* of that u typed/ i feel like a idiot/ i know 1 thing/ this whole situation has made me smarter/ i m sad for IA tho

Splue; please don't feel like an idiot. This place is a jungle. You are not the first to learn that the hard way.
It would be good if you stayed around though. Just pick a screen name with no L's or i's in it, then it is harder for someone to do what was done to you this time.
By the way, when the truth about the whole "smil2es" episode came out, it turned out that half of the "Good ol' regulars" here were at the multi-posting malarky. The very same people who got uptight about it publicly.
The only people who I could say with certainty who were not multi-posting were; 'Rab C' wordsmith and highflow.

As for the forum, I'm realistic.....the forum will be here when I come looking for tunes and I'll probably have to read a few posts and maybe drop a comment or two.
